Roger Moore, who played secret agent James Bond in seven feature films, once said that English actor Iris Elba was not an appropriate choice to play 007 because he isn't "English English."

And just recently, James Bond novelist Anthony Horowitz had this to say on the matter:

"For me, Idris Elba is a bit too rough to play the part. It's not a colour issue. I think he is probably a bit too "street" for Bond. Is it a question of being suave? Yeah."

What do you think?
