Musician Joshua Webb, a keyboardist who played on Ledisi's Grammy-nominated album "Pieces of Me," was killed in a wreck Wednesday on I-285.

The St. Louis Post-Dispatch reported that Webb, who grew up in St. Louis and recently moved to Atlanta, and a cousin were driving in rainy weather when they hit a tractor-trailer.

The Fulton County Medical Examiner's office told the AJC that the wreck happened about noon Wednesday on I-285 near Langford Parkway.

According to the Post-Dispatch, Webb, 27, played piano on Ledisi's album on the song "Bravo," and organ on the song "Shine."

Those songs were produced by Webb's brother, John Webb Jr., who is also known as producer Jon Jon Traxx.

The newspaper said Joshua Webb moved to Atlanta last year to work with his brother, and played organ for Ray of Hope Christian Church in Decatur.
