Foo Fighters singer Dave Grohl broke his leg during a set in Sweden while performing "Monkey Wrench," but that did not stop the show.

Grohl told the crowd, "I think I just broke my leg again. I think I really broke my leg. So you have my promise, right now, that the Foo Fighters—we're gonna come back and finish the show."

And that's what happened; Grohl left the stage to get medical attention, then was carried back on stage on a stretcher, with his foot bandaged. He finished the concert on crutches and sitting down.

After the concert, the group tweeted an X-ray of Grohl's leg fracture.

The Associated Press contributed to this report.
