Mumford & Sons are returning to the road and have included Atlanta on its latest itinerary.

The band was forced to cancel some shows earlier this month after bassist Ted Dwane underwent surgery for a blood clot in his brain (he is recovering well), but has rescheduled those as well as added more for “The Full English Tour.”

They’ll perform Sept. 10 at Centennial Olympic Park, but tickets can only be purchased through an invitation system.

Fans can register at http://invitation.mumfordandsons.com/onsale-registration/ through July 3. Invitations will be sent out beginning July 8 with further instructions. The band believes the process ensures that “real fans get in and the ticket scalpers stay out.”

“The Full English Tour” begins Aug. 26 in Toronto and will feature The Vaccines and Bear’s Den on most dates, including Atlanta.

The British folkies behind the hits “Little Lion Man” and “I Will Wait” scored big at the Grammys in February when “Babel” nabbed Album of the Year honors.
