Want to pay homage to the original big screen ghost-fighting team and sing its catchy, eponymous theme song all in one place?

You're in luck.

In honor of the new "Ghostbusters" film  opening in theaters this weekend, Venkman's, located at 740 Ralph McGill Blvd, will screen the beloved original, starring Dan Ankroyd and Bill Murray, at 7:30 p.m. Thursday for free. Open karaoke will follow the screening of the film.

While reminiscing and reveling in the original, movie goers can also enjoy beverages and food inspired by the film like the $5 Ecto Cooler cocktail and the Stay Puft Gelato sandwich, which is made from graham cracker cookie with burnt marshmallow gelato, chocolate and fudge. It's a one-night-only special offered by Venkman's and Honey Suckle Gelato.

The new version of the film, opening Friday, will star an all-female cast that includes Kristin Wiig, Melissa McCarthy, Leslie Jones and Kate McKinnon. The film will also feature original castmates Annie Potts, Bill Murray, Dan Ankroyd and Sigourney Weaver.
