Lady Gaga stunned viewers with her emotional tribute to the late pop icon David Bowie at the 58th annual Grammy Awards.
The eccentric singer gave a preview of what was to come when she posted a video on Instagram.
While Gaga was getting her makeup done for the red carpet, she shed a single tear as she listened to Bowie's "Blackstar."
In her performance, Gaga made quick outfit changes that were a blend of David Bowie's iconic looks and her own brand of eclectic style.
She began with "Major Tom" and used Intel technology and her creative team, Haus of Gaga, to display one of Bowie's signature looks: red hair and a red lightning bolt. Gaga then sang through "Rebel Rebel," "Fame," "Under Pressure" and other hits until closing with "Heroes" against a purple, smoky backdrop with Bowie's image.
