Olde Towne Diner
Locals may know this as the place they usually go for burgers and hot dogs, but the owners recently revamped the menu and rechristened the place as a diner. Hoist a glass to the traditional Irish fare on the menu at Midtown’s newest watering hole.
Along with the fish and chips, shepherd's pie, corned beef and cabbage, and full Irish breakfasts, guests will find pan-seared potato cakes, Reuben sandwiches, Guinness barbecue burgers, seafood and plenty of freshly baked soda bread. The space harks back to the 1800s, with wood paneling, parquet floors, crystal chandeliers and two restored bars brought to Atlanta directly from Ireland. Gordon Biersch Brewery
The old Rock Bottom space in Buckhead has been transformed into the city's second location of the Biersch franchise, featuring the same globally inspired menu. Dishes range from shrimp and chicken pot stickers and southwest egg rolls to cedar plank salmon, Tuscan chicken and steak frites. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are served at the diner, where the menu is almost book-length.
