Six Flags' Thomas the Tank Engine bring smiles
"They're two, they're four, they're six, they're eight ..." If you sang those words, you'll probably want to round up the kids and head out to Six Flags Over Georgia for the opening of Thomas Town on May 17.
The Really Useful Engine and his friends are rolling into a miniature Island of Sodor created just for younger children that includes a replica of Thomas the Tank Engine with two passenger trains, Annie and Clarabel, that can transport up to 30 passengers.
The train departs from Knapford Station and travels around the island for a three-minute ride. Along the way, you'll spot Cranky the Crane and the Tidmouth Shed.
Thomas fans also will enjoy the mammoth interactive Thomas Town playground and a soft play area for younger children that invites them to climb on Harold the Helicopter and Bertie the Bus.
Sir Topham Hatt will be available for photos at a meet-and-greet by the character gazebo opening day. And if little conductors need a memento from their trip to Sodor, there's a Thomas & Friends merchandise store.
