The bride wore a custom Ralph Lauren gown at the Saturday ceremony. The designer was worn by the entire wedding party, which included Jonas' three brothers, Joe, Kevin, and Frankie and Chopra's brother Siddharth, People reported. The designer had special meaning as Lauren is a close friend and the couple wore his clothes at the 2017 Met Gala. Jonas' father, Paul Kevin Jonas Sr., officiated the wedding.

The couple had a number of celebrations before the big day, including a number of traditional Hindu pre-wedding customs, such as a puja. In the traditional ceremony, the couple asked Lord Ganesh to look over them and block obstacles to happiness. Chopra had a mehndi ceremony in which the women in the bride and groom's family and close female friends meet in a party environment and have artists apply temporary henna tattoos to the palms of female guests and to the hands and feet of the bride.

The couple celebrated together at a sangeet, a party hosted by the bride's family in which music, food and drinks are enjoyed  and songs and dances are performed for the couple. The Indian Express reported that Jonas even surprised Chopra with a performance.

Jonas and Chopra started dating in May a year after attending the 2017 Met Gala together as friends. Jonas proposed to Chopra after her 36th birthday.
