Spring is the season for "taste of" events and not to be left out, Buckhead has gotten in on the food action. The Taste of Buckhead Business takes place Wednesday from 5:30 to 9 p.m. at the Grand Hyatt, 3300 Peachtree Road. Chefs from more than 15 area eateries — including Ruth's Chris Steakhouse, The Capital Grille, Horseradish Grill, Mosaic and AquaKnox — will offer bites of their specialties. Along with the food, more than 40 Buckhead businesses will showcase their companies. Look for a radio remote and an Elvis entertainer in the crowd as well. • It's been 29 years since the Buckhead Life Restaurant group started serving diners. To celebrate, the company that owns the Atlanta Fish Market, Chops, Nava and Kyma is offering three-course menus for $29. • Whether you live in Grant Park or not, you're invited to the neighborhood block party. From noon to 6 p.m. on Sunday, the owners of Stella Neighborhood Trattoria, 563 Memorial Drive, will host a no–admisson afternoon of $1.50 pizza slices, drink specials, free cake and music. • You have through Saturday to be part of the Food Allergy Awareness Week program going on at the Real Chow Baby, 1016 Howell Mill Road. Ten percent of the profits will go to the Food Allergy and Anaphylaxis Network. • There's a jazzy theme running through two in-town restaurants.
