Lori Loughlin, the actress best-known for her role on "Full House," was charged in a college cheating scheme alongside at least 40 other people. She is charged with conspiracy to commit mail fraud and wire fraud.

Loughlin and fellow actress Felicity Huffman were among several affluent parents, who were involved in allegedly paying money to alter college testing and admissions to get several unqualified students in elite schools like Wake Forest and Yale universities.

On Twitter, the reactions ran hot and fast. Most poked fun at her squeaky clean role as Aunt Becky in the 1990s hit “Full House” and the sequel “Fuller House” First, there were the jokes:

A few called out Loughlin’s two daughters.

Then, the people who seriously tackled the issue.

There was also some support for her.
