Can’t make it to England for the royal wedding, but don’t want to just watch the ceremony on TV at home? The Royal Wedding at Piedmont Park will mark the nuptials on Friday morning of Prince William and Kate Middleton near the new Legacy Fountain.

The black-tie event, at the Crowne Plaza Ravinia hotel, is a chance to rub elbows with Consul General Annabelle Malins and VIP guests like Gov. Nathan Deal and Atlanta Mayor Kasim Reed. You’ll also dine, dance and watch video highlights of that morning’s wedding ceremony — all while raising money for the Starlight Children’s Foundation. The charity helps seriously ill youngsters in both the U.S. and the United Kingdom.
