Age: 43
Occupation: Manager, Rehabilitation Services at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta
What I'm wearing: "Dress: from the label, DIDI. Purchased in Belgium. I loved it because of the intricate embroidery and detail.
“Hair barrette: purchased at the Inman Park Arts Festival. I like the design, sparkle, colors used [that] compliment my hair.
“Shoes – I find from DSW.”
Signature style: "Your clothing announces who you are. I want mine to say I'm elegant and put together, but approachable. I prefer clothing that makes me feel elegant, is comfortable and allows me to express my personality."
Best finds: "Years ago I got the most amazing winter coat as a gift. It has a beautiful velvet-draped collar, gorgeous buttons and a nice black-and-white print. I receive compliments on it year after year."
Fashion weakness: "I love special scarves since they allow me to dress up any outfit. I also have a weakness for fun jewelry, and I especially like it when I get to know the designer and when they use unusual materials."
Favorite stores: "I will shop anywhere I can find nice things, so this ranges from Target to Anthropologie to Ann Taylor to Squash Blossom and arts festivals.
“When I am at home in Belgium, I try to find time to shop at a couple of my favorite designers and stores — Cora Kemperman and Mais il est où soleil.”
Fashion inspiration: "Both my mom and my sister have impeccable taste."
Pet peeve: "White socks and sneakers worn anywhere outside the gym."
Best fashion compliment: "Being nominated for this article by the Children's staff. People often make the comment [that] they would love to raid my closet. When my 9-year-old son tells me I look pretty."
