Former Delta Air Lines CEO Richard Anderson is retiring from the company’s board of directors, and Frank Blake has been named as the airline’s non-executive chairman.

Blake is the former CEO of Home Depot, and has been on Delta’s board since July 2014.

Anderson was CEO of Delta from 2007 through May 2016, and has been executive chairman for the five months since. Ed Bastian, who was the airline's president, is now CEO.

In a written statement, Blake called Anderson “one of the great leaders in global aviation.”
