Atlanta-based Pike Nurseries wants to hire 300 seasonal workers in the coming weeks, joining a growing number of local companies staffing up for the spring and summer months.

Pikes will hold career fairs on Feb. 25 from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. at its 14 metro Atlanta locations and at its Lake Oconee location. Positions include manager trainees, department heads, sales associates, operations personnel and cashiers.

Last week, Home Depot announced it was looking to fill more than 80,000 positions nationwide for spring, including 1,200 spots in metro Atlanta.
