The peak day for return shipments is now coming before Christmas, according to UPS.
That shows how much e-commerce is shifting how people shop, according to the Sandy Springs-based shipping giant. More people are buying items for themselves while shopping online due to promotions, along with easier returns.
Today, Wednesday Dec. 19, is now expected to be National Returns Day, with a forecast peak of 1.5 million returns, surpassing the 1.3 million returns expected Jan. 3.
