With growing profits, Atlanta-based logistics software firm Manhattan Associates is adding about 300 employees around the world this year.

As Manhattan Associates on Tuesday reported record profitability in the second quarter with $20.6 million in net income and a record $122.5 million in revenue, CEO Eddie Capel said the company continues to grow its workforce. After adding about 75 to its staff in the first quarter, he said the company added about 130 people in the second quarter, and continues to search for about 100 more.

The firm is growing rapidly by selling software to help companies manage their supply chains and easily sell to customers whether they’re shopping online or in stores or both. Its revenue increased 19.5 percent in the quarter compared with the same period last year.
