A man pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit wire fraud earlier this month in U.S. District Court in Atlanta. Todd Anderson made the plea in early December in connection with his role in preparing and transmitting fraudulent FAA Supplemental Type Certificates to a contractor working for Dubai Air Wing. According to the FAA, which received help from the Office of the Inspector General, a business associate of Anderson's allegedly created a fraudulent Supplemental Type Certificate and four fraudulent Airplane Flight Manual Supplements. Anderson, who is scheduled for sentencing Feb. 23, was accused of facilitating the transmission of at least one of the certificates via email.
