Job seekers flock to Turner Field fair

Williams Jenkins of Lithonia said he was first in line at the job fair at 6 a.m. at Turner Field. Jenkins is currently a part-time student working towards his bachelor's degree while also working at Target.

Metro Atlanta has lost almost 200,000 jobs during the past year according to the state Labor Department.

Job seekers wait in line along Pollard Boulevard during the job fair. . Unemployment in both metro Atlanta and Georgia is now above 10 percent and Atlanta represents more than half the state's workforce.
