Donald Keough: A Coca-Cola veteran

Donald Keogh retired as president of Atlanta-based Coca-Cola in 1993.

Since retirement in 1993, Keough remained active and was a non-executive chairman of New York-based Allen & Co. He rejoined Coca-Cola's board and was a director of Warren Buffett's holding company, Berkshire Hathaway.

Keough has also served on the boards of McDonald's, the Washington Post Co., Home Depot, H.J. Heinz Co. and the University of Notre Dame.

In 1993, Keough delivers the commencement address at Emory University.

Keough announces in February 1993 that he will retire as president of Coca-Cola on April 15, 1993.
