Atlanta-based Delta Air Lines' reservations center in Santiago was damaged by the earthquake in Chile last weekend, but is still in operation. There was no structural damage, said Delta spokesman Anthony Black.

Delta chief executive Richard Anderson told employees in his weekly message that the company has more than 180 employees in Chile and all of them are safe. Some have been personally affected by the earthquake, he said.

Delta restarted its daily flights from Atlanta to Santiago on Wednesday and the company is coordinating with local officials as it resumes its operations, Anderson said.
