Delta cancels 70 flights in advance of Hurricane Florence

Delta Air Lines has canceled about 70 flights in advance of Hurricane Florence making landfall, with most of the cancellations so far affecting flights Thursday.

The cancellations include flights to and from coastal cities such as Charleston, Fayetteville, N.C., and Wilmington, N.C.

More flight cancellations are expected.

Charleston International Airport is closing its runways Wednesday evening, and said it expects to reopen Saturday morning.
