Coronavirus cases in Georgia continue to grow
July 3, 2020
Georgia reported 2,784 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 on Friday.
That's down from 3,472 newly reported cases the day before, which set a record for the number of new cases.
Also Friday, the state Department of Public Health reported 7 more deaths from the disease.
To date, Georgia has reported 90,493 confirmed cases and 2,856 deaths attributed to COVID-19.
