Comcast on Tuesday announced plans to open several new Xfinity retail stores across the metro area in the coming months.

The cable giant will open a location in Morrow in April, in Peachtree Corners in November and a store in Marietta in August. Stores in Conyers, Lithonia and Kennesaw recently opened.

A location also is planned for Woodstock in the fourth quarter while opening dates for the 2019 debut of new stores in Sandy Springs and Duluth have not yet been scheduled.

“Today’s announcement underscores our continued investment toward delivering an exceptional customer experience,” Doug Guthrie, Comcast Regional SVP, said in a release. “Our efforts also ensure that customers in less densely populated areas will have access to these enhanced retail centers, making doing business with Comcast more seamless than ever.”

Visitors to the newly designed stores, which can be as large as 4,000-square-feet in size, can pay bills, sign up for services, get equipment, watch demonstrations of Xfinity products and talk to experts.
