Atlanta-based Coca-Cola will have two commercials on this year's Super Bowl -- one featuring billionaire Montgomery Burns from "The Simpsons" and another showing a young man sleepwalking across Africa, braving dangers to get his hands on a chilled Coke.

The ads come as PepsiCo announces that it will not advertise its drinks on the broadcast, after a 23-year run.

"As far as our competitor choosing to go somewhere else, we'll miss them," Katie Bayne, chief marketing officer of Coca-Cola North America, said today. "At the same time, I know they have other things planned. We have been planning on the Super Bowl for a long time."
