Are you getting the most for your money when it comes to buying a new vehicle? Consumer Reports recently released “best-value scores” for scores of vehicles to help take some of the guesswork out of the buying experience. “We analyzed more than 200 recently tested vehicles, focusing on road-test scores, predicted reliability and five-year owner-cost estimates,” the magazine says. “The better a car performs in our tests and reliability ratings, and the less it costs to own over time, the better its value.” See our gallery on the top vehicles in each category, from subcompact cars to minivans.
