There’s no shortage of home tours in metro Atlanta.
More than a dozen neighborhoods, both ITP and OTP, host annual home tours that offer an intimate look at how your neighbors live.
There are also a number of specialized home tours in Atlanta such as one designed just for kitchens, another that shows off remodeling projects and one focused on modern homes.
On April 14, the metro area gains another home tour.
The first ever Atlanta Micro Home Tour will highlight eight unique small homes and accessory dwelling units in several Intown neighborhoods.

Ranging in size from 180-800 SF, the homes offer examples of efficient space design, sustainability and downsizing. The eight homes are located in the Inman Park, Candler Park, Old Fourth Ward, Cabbagetown and Grant Park neighborhoods.
Presented by MicroLife Institute (former known as Tiny House Atlanta) the event is designed to focus on how micro housing, especially ADUs can benefit individuals and communities in metro Atlanta.

Attendees have the option of exploring the six mile tour route via a self-guided tour by car or bike ($20) or a guided bike tour ($30 with bike, $50 for bike rental). During check-in at the MLK MARTA parking lot, guests can pick up wristbands and route maps.
The event concludes with an information session and networking event from 4 - 6 p.m. at the new Grindhouse Killer Burgers on Memorial Drive.
