A radio jock at what was called Jamz 101 has filed a lawsuit in the state court of Fulton County for sexual harassment against the radio station operator Enoch Kirkwood and his company Sky Sports LLC.

Tra'Keiyah Carter, who worked as an evening jock for the station last year, said on the first day at work, Kirkwood massaged her neck, shoulders and back. Soon after, the lawsuit said, he asked if she "liked to get nasty with the music late at night. Ms. Carter informed Kirkwood that his making unwanted sexually charged comments to her were inappropriate."

But he kept making sexual remarks to her, asking if she “liked” men “and” women. She declined to discuss her sex life with him, according to the lawsuit.

She said in her lawsuit she was so afraid of being by herself with him, she had her roommate Jennifer McQuiller stay outside while she did her night shift. She said on September 1, he hugged her and grabbed her butt without her permission.

“Due to Kirkwood’s constant touching, grabbing and sexual comments,” the lawsuit said, “Plaintiff decided to resign.”

She said he created a “hostile work environment” and “failed to take appropriate remedial actions to correct the sexual harassment.”

Parker is seeking general damages for mental and emotional suffering caused by Kirkwood’s alleged actions as well as punitive damages.

Kirkwood could not be reached for comment.

The hip-hop station no longer exists. It had previously operated on the HD-2 channel at 101.5.

Donald Trump's administration deployed the military to Washington, D.C., in the name of fighting crime, and in an Aug. 11 news conference he mentioned the possibility of military being sent to other large American cities, all of which are led by Black, Democratic mayors. And while Atlanta wasn't included in Trump's list, the city fits that profile under Mayor Andre Dickens. (Photo Illustration: Philip Robibero / AJC | Source: Getty)
