Atlanta's newest reality show is WE-TV's "Selling It: In the ATL." It features local female realtors. WE-TV has not released the list of cast members but the show will debut Thursday, November 5 at 10 p.m.. I will post more as I get details but they did release a photo of seven African-American women above.
It's an obvious play off WE-TV's "Cutting It: In the ATL," which features hairstylists and did well enough season one earlier this year to get a second season.
WE-TV's description of the show:
In an industry once dominated by men, these women use their business acumen and large-than-life personalities to close major deals amidst the booming Atlanta housing economy. It's a seller's market in the growing city and there's not enough inventory for the influx of buyers and investors looking to call Atlanta home. Every property has a story and as the new, gentrified Atlanta moves in, embracing a progressive culture that encourages residents to "live, work and play," the old South fights to stay alive and relevant.
One interesting factoid: "Real Housewives of Atlanta" recurring cast member Sheree Whitfield, who has had her own real estate issues with "Chateau Sheree," is an executive producer. Whitfield was a regular cast member of the Bravo show season one to four and returns season eight next month as a "friend," meaning she'll show up on occasion but not every episode.
Atlanta has already been home to R&B divas, hip-hop ladies, pastor's wives, women in the medical field and of course, the infamous housewives.

Remember Jimmy Baron of 99X fame? He is now rocking it as a Keller Williams realtor. But some folks never forget:

Part-time Atlantan Shaquille O'Neal, who works during the basketball season with "NBA on TNT" out of the midtown Turner Studios, appeared on both ABC and NBC Tuesday night.
He played a 1995 version of himself on ABC's "Fresh Off the Boat," making an appearance as the owner of an Orlando car dealership wheeling and dealing with the lead couples. Since he is far heavier than he was when he was 23 years old, he said he bulked up off season but can lose the weight quickly.
Meanwhile at 10 p.m., he played guest host with Neil Patrick Harris on the variety show "Best Time Ever."
"Tuesday is when I catch up with my wives," Shaq said. "I like my Orange County wives, my New York wive sand my Atlanta wives... I even like the short-lived and critically maligned Washington D.C. wives!" (NBCUniversal synergy alert!) This segues to a segment of a regular person Nicole Taylor, who ends up in a mock "Real Housewives of Richmond VA" bit with Andy Cohen.
Some of her belongings appear with Kyle Richards and Lisa Vanderpump of the "Beverly Hills" series - including Nicole's husband Scott. Cynthia Bailey and Kenya Moore of Atlanta massaged Nicole without her even knowing it at a spa in Richmond. Bethenny Frankel of New York played a customer service rep who peeves Nicole and then greets her in person.
They also goofed around with Shaq's height.

The newest radio format at 92.3 is a Latino contemporary hits format called Mia 92.3. It replaces an ESPN sports talk format and could be better aligned as a duo buy with IHeartRadio's station El Patron 105.3, which is a regional Mexican format.
Acts heard on Mia include Ricky Martin, Jennifer Lopez, Alejandro Sanz and Pitbull.
This is a national format already heard on the HD-2 channel for El Patron and features an array of existing jocks from other markets.
It's a modest signal and doesn't cover the entire metro market but it can be heard just fine inside the Perimeter.
