Fantasia burned her arm on the tour bus earlier this week in a bizarre accident and had to cancel a concert in Memphis.
TMZ reported that she was sleeping on her tour bus on Sunday next to an aromatherapy vaporizer, which she uses to soothe her vocal cords. She said she thinks she rolled over onto the machine's power cord, causing hot water to spill on her right forearm. She received second degree burns.
She returned on her tour three days later in Los Angeles.
This happened a day after she performed in Atlanta with Charlie Wilson and Johnny Gill.

Season 15 "American Idol" runner-up LaPorsha Renae said being gay for her was a "choice" because she has gone back and forth herself.
"Phobia is a fear. I'm not afraid of homosexuals, nor do I hate them. I respect and love EVERYONE," she wrote on her Twitter page. "Go educate yourself on my statement and come correct or don't come at all."
When some folks objected, she responded:
“You’re wrong to think it’s not a choice for some….because it was for me. #Truth,” La’Porsha wrote. “And the bigger picture of my statement was that homosexuals should be loved and respected, not dehumanized…not whether/not it was a choice.”

Ryan Seacrest posted Throwback Thursday Facebook photos yesterday referencing his time Atlanta at age 15 trying to get on Star 94 and a later shot of him with Sullivan when Seacrest was on "Idol." Seacrest as a teen was a fan of Tom Sullivan, who was working nights at the time. Sullivan snuck him on the air and Seacrest ultimately got a part-time gig there -- as a high school student!
In an interview today, Sullivan said he was about to go on stage last night to host a Georgia State University awards show for actuaries and mathematicians (The Riskies) and was going to talk about Seacrest when he heard about Seacrest's post. "It's funny how the universe works," he said.
The photo above is actually from around 1994 soon after Seacrest arrived in Los Angeles. Sullivan recalls Seacrest lived in the same apartment complex as Mario Lopez and was introduced to the then "Saved by the Bell" star. Sullivan last saw Seacrest in person in 2010 when he pitched a TV idea to Seacrest's production company. (That photo is below)
Sullivan, on Facebook, wrote: "Ryan, I will always remember this day and the great fun we had in L.A. period I love how you used to call me during American Idol! While they were singing you were talking to me on the phone! You are the best buddy."
Sullivan is now contributing to NBC affiliate WXIA-TV's "Atlanta & Company."
