In the past month or so, I've attended a few parties. They didn't generate much in the way of news but here are some photos.

First up is TV One's 'The Next 15," which recently held an opening soiree at Suite Food Lounge in downtown Atlanta. The show, created by "Real Housewives of Atlanta" producer Carlos King, features six reality stars seeking another 15 minutes, so to speak. Five of them showed up for the celebration earlier this month. The show was shot mostly in Los Angeles.

Two have Atlanta ties - Benzino (formerly of "Love and Hip Hop Atlanta") and Claudia Jordan (briefly on "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" and the Rickey Smiley radio show.) Benzino is on two reality shows at once. He's also on WE-TV's "Marriage Boot Camp Reality Stars." Jordan has moved back to Los Angeles. The reality program airs Wednesdays at 9 p.m.

Centric, which is now branding itself the home for black women, last month entered the reality show world with six women who have been taken down by scandal but are working together to life themselves back up.

Called "From the Bottom Up," the show debuted last month for six episodes. It was the brainchild of Atlanta R&B singer Nicci Gilbert, a veteran reality show participant herself on TV One's "R&B Divas." The finale aired tonight.

On February 13, Boom 97.5/102.9 feted Ed Lover with a birthday party last week at Elleven 45 Lounge, which used to be Frank Ski's. His station colleague DJ Nabs was there as well.

Lover and his colleague Monie Love started a new syndicated morning show last month on Boom, the classic hip-hop station.
