Fox 5 news director Mike McClain leaves for Charlotte

Mike McClain, news director at Fox 5 Atlanta for the past eight years, is moving to Charlotte to become general manager of two stations there, including its Fox affiliate.
"He is a remarkable news director, with a keen local news instinct and we are looking forward to seeing him get the job done in Charlotte," said Jack Abernethy, Chief Executive Officer of FOX Television Stations, in a press release.
A search is underway for a replacement.
