BET's "Let's Stay Together," which was shot in Atlanta, won't be together anymore after four seasons and 65 episodes, a BET publicist confirmed today.

There was some confusion a couple of weeks ago when I last asked. The publicist thought there were still episodes in the can. There weren't. It's over.

The relationships-based comedy was a companion to "The Game" and debuted at the same time on BET in early 2011. It never drew the ratings of "The Game" but did respectably, typically drawing 1.5 million to 2 million viewers per new episode the last couple of seasons.

The fact BET let RonReaco Lee, who played attorney Jamal on the show, shoot another show earlier this year  was not a good sign.

"They finally put it to bed," he said to me last week while promoting the upcoming Starz comedy "Survivor's Remorse." "It left on a cliffhanger. It's unfortunate the show didn't get a proper conclusion." But he noted that BET is going through management changes in programming and that decisions like these are sometimes made.
