Two series end their runs this week: TNT's "Perception" after four seasons Tuesday and Fox's "Glee" after seven seasons on Friday.

'Perception" was a mid-level performer for TNT, never a major hit and with management changes at the network, it no longer fit in their futur eplans.

"Glee" was a really hot show for a hot minute back in 2009 and 2010 but is well past its expiration date. Fox inexplicably gave the show a two-season renewal a couple years back and has since buried it on Friday night for its final, mostly forgotten, run. But alas, many old fans will probably return for a nostalgic sing-along farewell.

TV's hottest show "Empire" closes shop for its first season Wednesday with a two-hour extravaganza featuring the likes of Snoop Dogg and Patti LaBelle. Co-creator Danny Strong did a press conference last week with press and I'll write more about that later this week.

And speaking of LaBelle, on Monday she joins "Dancing With the Stars" for its 20th season, which also includes Michael Sam, the first openly gay man to try out for the NFL, and "Three's Company" star Suzanne Somers.

TNT finishes up its most popular show "Rizzoli & Isles" Tuesday. HBO wraps "Girls" for a fourth season Sunday.

And Yahoo brings former NBC show "Community" back this week on its Yahoo Screen page.
