HBO's "True Detective" is being hit hard by critics this season. It closes shop this Sunday.
And ABC's annual sojourn to the CMA Music Festival airs Tuesday night.
ABC Family also ends its "Melissa & Joey" Wednesday after four seasons.
And I erred last week in saying BET aired the series finale of "The Game" on July 29. Actually, the final episode airs this Wednesday.
This TV tips covers Monday, August 3 through Sunday, August 9.
MONDAY
"American Ninja Warrior" 8 p.m. NBC — The top 30 competitors from the Orlando Qualifier tackle the Orlando Finals course.
