The Fulton County Medical Examiner’s office is still working to identify the body of a 19-year-old woman killed in a fiery car accident that shut down I-20 on Saturday night.

Meanwhile, the driver of the car that she was a passenger in has been charged with felony homicide by vehicle.

Detective Melissa Parker, a spokesperson for the Fulton County Police Department, said the driver has also been charged with reckless driving, passing on the shoulder and driving in the emergency lane.

He apparently hit a car that was on the shoulder of I-20 west at Fulton Industrial Boulevard that was stopped and having a tire changed.

Both drivers were transported with non-life threatening injuries.

The 19-year-old woman, who was killed at the scene, was visiting from New York, Parker said.
