Winter storm: Icy roads in Forsyth County

Forsyth County authorities are asking motorists to avoid roads that have iced over during the winter storm Friday night.
According to posts on the sheriff's office's Facebook page, there are traffic alerts for the following roads:
- All of Canton Highway
- All of Highway 9
- All of Ga. 306
- All of Bethelview Road
- Matt Highway from 400 to Cherokee County
- Ronald Reagan from Majors Road to Highway 20
- Holtzclaw Road
- Freedom Parkway
- Trammel Road
- Doc Bramblett Road
Motorists should drive extremely carefully if they have to travel for an emergency.
