Winter storm: Clayton schools closed today

Clayton County schools are closed today , adding an extra day to students' winter break. School officials made the decision at 11 p.m. Monday. Whether the break will extend even longer remains to be seen.

"We're going to take it day by day. We're going to monitor the weather and make sure roads are safe so kids can get to and from school safely," school district spokesman Charles White said Tuesday morning.
