Clayton County government workers are scheduled to report to work at 8 this morning.

Crews from Clayton County Transportation & Development are continuing to pre-treat some bridges and overpasses in advance of the falling temperatures. Bridges in the following areas have been pre-treated: Lake Jodeco Road, Garden Walk Boulevard, Valley Hill Road, Freeman Road, Conley Road, Grant Road,Forest Parkway, Anvil Block Road, Northbridge Road, Panhandle Road, Woolsey Road, Panola Road, Evans Drive, Fielder Road, Helmer Road and Upper Riverdale Road.

County crews have been monitoring roads throughout the night and early morning.Temperatures are above freezing and will remain there until later this morning. Local ponds and standing water does not appear to be an issue on most roads.
