South Fulton family robbed by armed home invaders

No one was injured when a group of armed robbers barged into a south Fulton County home early Thursday.

Channel 2 Action News reported there were four adults and three children inside the house on Flat Shoals Road when five suspects broke through the back door about 1 a.m.

Two of the adults hid with the children in an upstairs bedroom while the other two fought with the intruders, who fired three shots inside the home, according to Channel 2.

The suspects fled with cash and credit cards.
