Snow in metro Atlanta: Interstates 75, 575 in Cobb and Cherokee counties beginning to ice up

The WSB 24-hour Traffic Center is reporting that I-575 has been shut down at the Little River bridge in Cherokee County, and there are numerous accidents on I-75 in northern Cobb County.

A wintry mix of sleet, rain and snow began falling across the northern suburbs around 4 a.m. Tuesday, while snow was reported across the mountain counties. Drivers are urged to check current traffic conditions before leaving home. Read the full story and forecast.
