Today won't be a good day to get a driver's license in Georgia.

The Department of Drivers Services licensing and testing location in Blue Ridge in Fannin County is closed today. The following locations will close at noon, according to spokeswoman Susan Sports:  Conyers, Canton, Rock Spring, Calhoun, Cartersville, Dalton, Rome, Cedartown, and Gainesville; North Cobb, Marietta, Carrollton, Decatur, Newnan. Lawrenceville, Norcross, Toccoa; Sandy Springs, Fayetteville, Forest Park, Atlanta, Cumming; Covington, Lithonia, Locust Grove, Conyers, Between; and Athens.  Check the Department of Drivers Services website at www.dds.ga.gov

Metro Atlanta and the rest of north Georgia is bracing for an approaching storm that forecasters warned could begin moving into the state during the early afternoon hours and dump as much as 4 inches of snow to the northern suburbs and 8 inches to the mountain counties.
