DeKalb County emergency personnel are monitoring winter weather conditions from an emergency operations center.

The center is fully staffed in case snow and ice arrive in the county.

DeKalb is included in a winter weather warning covering most of North Georgia.

Portions of the county could receive between 1 inch and 3 inches of snow this afternoon.

County administrative offices and schools are closed Wednesday.
