Snow in metro Atlanta: Avoid Amber Way in Paulding County due to traffic incident

Paulding County emergency officials are advising motorists to avoid Amber Way due to a current traffic issue. A disabled vehicle near Paulding County High School has closed Amber Way and will require a detour of traffic for the next couple of hours. Read the full weather story and forecast here.

A wintry mix of sleet, rain and snow began falling across the northern suburbs around 4 a.m. Tuesday, while snow was reported across the mountain counties. Drivers are urged to check current traffic conditions  before leaving home. Read the full story and forecast .
