All Fulton County and Atlanta Public Schools will follow their regular schedules Tuesday.

"The FCS Weather Team continues to monitor the weather situation and in the event of any change in school schedules, parents will be notified through SchoolMessenger, the FCS website, social media channels and news media," according to a post on the Fulton County Schools system's official Facebook page .

All Atlanta Public Schools and offices are open, the system wrote in a tweet .

A wintry mix of sleet, rain and snow began falling across the northern suburbs around 4 a.m. Tuesday, while snow was reported across the mountain counties. Drivers are urged to check current traffic conditions  before leaving home. Read the full story and forecast.
