Gov. Nathan Deal and his former Democratic challenger Jason Carter will sit in the same section at President Obama's speech at Georgia Tech.

But Carter faced more scrutiny when he didn't appear with Obama when the president arrived in Atlanta to talk about his administration's plans to halt the spread of Ebola.

The end of the election means there's little risk for either of them to be seen with POTUS.
