Clayton County recently voted overwhelmingly for public transportation. Now residents have a chance to customize the kind of  transit system that meets their needs.

MARTA will host a Dec. 4 public hearing on proposed bus routes in Clayton County. The 7 p.m. meeting will be in the boardroom of the Clayton County Administration building, 112 Smith St. in Jonesboro. MARTA will begin limited bus service in March with a full complement by 2016.

Need a ride to the meeting?
