Police are looking for a 19-year-old man who has been indicted on charges of rape and false imprisonment in connection with an incident at Emmanuel College in Franklin Springs on Sept. 5.

The Georgia Bureau of Investigation is seeking to arrest Anthony Elijah Jones, who was indicted by a Franklin County grand jury, spokesman Scott Dutton said in a news release Wednesday.

The GBI, Franklin Springs police and the Franklin County sheriff’s office are investigating the case.

Jones is known to frequent the Kennesaw area of Cobb County and the Lake Lanier area of Forsyth County, Dutton said. Anyone with information regarding his whereabouts is asked to call 911, or call the GBI at .
