If you were hoping to catch a glimpse of the presidential motorcade on the Georgia Department of Transportation traffic cameras, you're out of luck. A GDOT spokeswoman told the WSB 24-hour Traffic Center that the cameras would be shut down during the president's visit for security reasons, and the cameras were indeed shut down at about 11:30 a.m. Tuesday. They will likely remain inoperable until the president leaves Atlanta.
