Gas line cut; portions of two Midtown roads closed
Portions of two Midtown roads are closed after a gas line was cut on Penn Avenue.
Penn Avenue between 6th and 8th streets and Argonne Avenue between 7th and 10th streets are closed, Atlanta Fire Rescue Department spokeswoman Janet Ward said.
According to Kristie Swink with Atlanta Gas Light, a construction crew hit the 2-inch gas line. A repair crew is headed to the scene, Swink said.
